Eck Museum of Art

The Eck Museum of Art exhibits both sacred and contemporary art

The Brunico Municipal Museum is housed in the antique horse stables for stagecoaches. In the so-called Gothic hall on the ground floor it exhibits late-Gothic artpieces of Michael Pacher and Friedrich Pacher, as well as of their scholars Simon and Veit von Taisten. Moreover, the museum hosts various temporary exhibitions on modern and contemporary art on the 1st and the archives of the museum on the 2nd floor.

The basement floor hosts a workshop with print facilities (for etching-lithography-wood engrocing), where both adults and children can try being artists for one day. Altogether, the Eck Museum of Art is a small and interesting museum very worth to be visited, not only on bad weather days!
